Nice to see #OreCup maintains the primary feature of #MineralCup, making me make TOUGH choices! I’m #TeamCopper so I win either way, but #Bornite is just so pretty, a true rainbow 🌈 rock, and it was named after Ignaz von Born, which makes me think of Ignatz Mouse! Of such things are votes made/cast.

Hayüne old name Azure spar,  is a rare tectosilicate sulfate mineral. It is a feldspathoid and a member of the sodalite group. Hauyne was first described in 1807 from samples discovered in Vesuvian lavas in Monte Somma, Italy. It fluorescences under long wave ultraviolet light.
An oblong chunk of gray rock hides at the center of beautiful cluster of blue Hayüne. One of the only sodalites to have Optical properties that allow you to see through it such as the same as window glass. In the center of the gray rock there are two roughly rhombodil shapes football shapes if you will, of a brilliant Blue Mineral. The blue is absolutely breathtaking Under long wave fluorescent light, Hayüne glows Orange this is a rectangular piece of it and it's very very orange with an electric blue line running down the center These are two absolutely beautiful Flawless gem quality nodules of Hayüne. the deep blue is absolutely mind blowing this is quickly becoming one of my favorite new rocks Sprinkled across the surface of a yellow gray Matrix Rock we have non Crystal formed Hayüne which really resembles Azurite, one of my favorite stones roughly shaped like a small football the blue is across the surface in spots following a vein pattern

You may recognise this fine fellow as Johann Gensfleisch zur Laden zum Gutenberg, owner of an awesome beard and renowned inventor of the movable type printing press. One of his key innovations in printing was adding antimony (and tin) to lead to make type metal. /2
