Well, now that 2025 is over, I should probably start watching some movies made in 2025 to help drown out the hellscape of 2026.
#Mickey17 was pretty good. I liked it. I dont know that I ever want to watch it again but I liked how unconventional it is and how unexpected it ended up being.

La segunda película del año ha sido ver por fin #Mickey17, un film plagado de buenas intenciones y algunas ideas bastante buenas, pero que también derrapa varias veces sin un ápice de vergüenza. Mucho presupuesto, mucho cast pero entretenimiento sencillito. 6/10

Finished Mickey7 last night. Ending is quieter (and honestly IMO better) than the ending to Mickey17, so I think it is worth reading (it’s also pretty short and quick, I mean I got through it in 2 days). Also apparently there’s a sequel book? It is now on my library holds list.

saw 53 movies in 2025! here's roughly where i would place them relatively (stuff swims around all the time though).
i found something to enjoy in most stuff i saw this year, but towards the bottom there are some real stinkers. 1-20 is all stuff i thought was very good though.
