I can highly recommend bringing an extendable back scratcher to a surgery appointment when your back is not getting operated on and you can stretch enough afterwards to reach your back safely with it! Itchy back has been much worse than incision pain, which has been minor.

Rough explanation on the intersections here regarding Japan:

1. 3 Kingdoms (history & Romance tradition) has/had a significant popularity historically. I forget many details but afaik & iirc

It is a nasty incision knee replacement! I massaged my incision and now it looks like a pen line. Hopefully it works this time uncomplicated 😉

Day 14: Knight

If the Traveler gets the title 'First Sage of Buer', then Kaeya gets 'The Sword of Buer'. He is Nahida's knight~

My weapon for him in this AU is the Light of Foliar Incision. I always get tempted to pull for that 😂

It hasn't pulled again since I put the hydrocolloid bandage on it. The difficulty with an incision like this is that with the margins they have to cut around the mole, it ends up being an almost 2 cm wide chunk of skin, so if you don't have a lot of loose skin it pulls unless there's a bandage.

Sharing a freedom pic of Jake❤️ I’m assuming the cone is because he just got neutered and they don’t want him licking the incision.
Jake is out of the shelter & just arrived ♥️

It turns out my incision from surgery has opened up in a few spots. My doc wants it packed every day, and my visiting nurse is coming by daily to do that. She just texted me to ask if she could come by at 9 am, and I had to keep from responding with...

Her quality of life will be good too as long as her incision heals well. She's not going to be suffering or anything ❤️

The cat scratched me good on the back of my hand yesterday and it’s a rather long incision and seems likely to leave a scar which is really hitting my vanity something fierce this morning. 🫠

So much nicer with the staples out, incision healing nicely 🙏🏻☺️

General update:

While I'll be going back for regular screenings, my ENT confirmed that I'm cancer free and cleared me for the disc replacement I need. Tumor was the size of my first segment of thumb.

The incision has healed well, but I'm recovering from a throat infection. Improving!

fighting for my life and hoping that my pain tomorrow after surgery is ONLY from my incision site and no more pelvic pain!!!!

For those who missed the memo, I had an aggressive type 2 bladder cancer (thus the avatar), and three weeks ago my bladder, prostrate, and some lymph nodes were removed to try to make sure they got all of it. The incision is 12 cm long, and has separated a little in a few spots.

I have a little dehiscence (opening) of the incision from my surgery, and my doctor wants it packed daily to help it heal. It turns out my brain can't coordinate my hands so far away and in reverse, but I just heard from my visiting nurse, and she'll be here daily to make sure things...

I'm working on my packing and I'm trying to figure out which plushie friend is going to be my emotional support plushie, while also holding my insides in after the surgery.

If you've ever had a bikini incision, you know exactly what I'm talking about lol

Lets really dissect this "cartoon". Russell doesn't have a frontal lobotomy incision either.

Russell Vought: Wrote the chapter on the Executive Office of the President of the United States and is considered a top architect of the project's agenda

Serena Williams also had maternity complications. She was complaining about having trouble breathing and was dismissed. She had to beg for a CT to prove she had a PE, and then ended up rupturing her C-section incision because of coughing. This is a millionaire. Money doesn't help us.

I like to think that if I had a big huge terrifying surgery and had to wear a cone and take pills and get my incision cleaned, I would be patient and understanding when the person I loved the most was helping me with these things.

I also have to have a nerve study done in Dec that my surgeon just told me about. I was told that the smaller incision (less invasive) surgery that I’m starting with, & the PRP injection could potentially worsen nerve damage, even though it may (or may not) improve my elbow, so it’s ALL a gamble😞
