🚨BREAKING NEWS🚨

Trump is ordering the CFPB to OVERTURN several states' laws that COMPLETELY BAN medical debt from credit reports. Some of the states impacted include: NY, CO, MD, etc.

This is catastrophic on its own, but when combined with the

US Law Overrides State Bans on Medical Debt Reporting, CFPB Says
A federal credit reporting law generally takes precedence over state measures barring medical debt and other items on consumer credit reports, the Trump administration said.

One family member is hospitalized.

Second one possibly coming up.

I have talked about masking over and over and over and over again, and my family hates me over it.

I wish they would listen to me 😭

I give the advice to help them bc I love them, not to be a PITA.
My family: "we have really sore throats, it feels like razor blades."

Me: "you should probably test for covid."

My family: "covids over."

Then they test.

Guess what they have? 🙃

And people are still going over to their house to hang out. 🤡

What nasal sprays are we using to prevent covid?

The one I generally use, Nasitrol, is not going to be here in time before my surgery.

So, I need one that I can purchase in store.

I know of Xlear, but I'm not sure if there's anything more effective?

Another blood draw this morning. 😭

Last one!!!!!

Does anyone know if I can use these medicated wipe thingies that we use to clean before surgery, as like an impromptu shower?

Until I can actually get into the shower?
November 24, 2025 at 1:42 AM
I have survived my pre-admissions testing!

Unfortunately, the blood draws were a bit of a mess.

They could have gotten everything done with one draw, but instead I got stuck four times today 😵

First nurse kept telling me that she had been doing this for 41 years.

Nothing cuddles harder than a 12" squishmallow.

I really wish I had discovered these years ago.

The joy I feel 🥰😍

I love all the bright colors.

Their cute little faces and expressions.

How squishy and soft they are.

And their designs.

I just can't get enough of them.

If you use GMail, AI (Gemini) was turned on yesterday by default and now scans all of your content for machine learning. To turn off, go to Settings>General and scroll down. Uncheck the box for "Smart features."

There's other "Smart" add-ons as well, but that's the one that reads your content.

NGL, between the large admin stuff for the surgery, packing, my physical symptoms and pain, traveling, and recovery...

I am overwhelmed.

I know it will get better once all of the accommodations and everything are in place.

But in the planning stages, this is challenging.

I mean, isn't Microsoft kinda known for its security vulnerabilities?
"Microsoft warns that Windows 11's agentic AI could install malware on your PC: 'Only enable this feature if you understand the security implications.'"

bro what--
what are we doing here, exactly, how can you--anyone be okay with this?

Pretty sure half my luggage is stuff to avoid covid-19. 🙄

And squishmallow 🥰

I'm not going to lie, it is really annoying to have to lug all of this stuff around.

Well, actually, I'm not going to be lugging it.

My parents will be lol 🥳

I also run the air purifier in the car 🤣

It will be an absolute miracle if I don't get covid from staying in a hotel for several days, and staying in a hospital for several days 🙃

I know I've got my precautions down, but trust me when I say that gets really really challenging after a big surgery.

I think...I might like Squishmallows after all. 🫣

The number of chronic health issues that would be aggravated by this style of airplane seats... 🙃

If they have bicycle style seating that we sort of rest on, imagine how much it would hurt for 🍆 owners to be slammed into it during severe turbulence like CAT. 😱
I’d like to say fuck you preemptively to any airline that attempts this strategy of torture. It’s miserable enough already.

Megillat Alice

I met Alice through #Disbility twitter when it was completely new to me but our communities were still together there.
Alice had zero ego. She is friendly, compassionate, a force of nature.

We had fun convos, hard convos. She was really good at giving advice, listening.

Just saw over on X that we have lost another beautiful person from the disability community, Alice Wong. 😭

May she R.I.P. and join all of the other people that the community has lost too early. 💔

My deepest condolences to her, her family, and all of her friends and acquaintances.

One of the things I am definitely not going to miss about Nutcracker syndrome?

The ridiculous headaches. 💀
November 15, 2025 at 7:50 AM
Any idea what food I should be buying for after my surgery to recover on?

Little Debbie's Christmas trees?

Ice cream?

Little Debbie's Christmas tree brownies?

Trolli gummy worms?

🤣🥳🥰

And while I had a shady appointment this morning...

I have a date for my donor nephrectomy to treat my Nutcracker syndrome! They found a match!! 🥳

I am very excited, and I need to pack...FAST.

And that is definitely not my strong suit, in my current condition lol

Well, to the surprise of absolutely no one, the appointment with the orthopedic surgeon went as shitty as expected 🤣

I'm glad I had a parent there w/ me as a witness.

Thankfully, we (Dr & I) both agreed that it was not a good fit.

I felt so uncomfortable in this guy's presence, there is

Pharmacies are getting more and more ridiculous to deal with every day, and I'm done giving them grace.

Either do your job, or leave.
