Nope.

"Wearing a mask everywhere I go is unreasonable." 🙃🫠

No worries! Someone else might be able to make use of the suggestion :)

Thanks!

I was trying to remember this one. I remember seeing this circulating around on social media.

Does the brand matter at all? Or can we get generic?

Forgot to mention too, a store in the US.

And I don't think I have enough Nasitrol to make it through (at the rate I'm going to need to be using it at)

While we obviously go through extensive screening, not everything is tested for or caught.

So this is basically like an insurance policy on anything that might have slipped through.

ALL DONE!

I think if you were to total up the tubes, it would be around 50 tubes I've had drawn throughout the process.

These tubes are for blood banking.

So if the recipient of my kidney were to develop issues, they can pull my blood and test it to see if they can figure out the issue.

Yes!

And I do have baby wipes and stuff that I can use on the other parts.
November 24, 2025 at 1:51 AM
Because I usually don't need the whole package to wipe myself down before surgery. So it would be nice to use the extra, so I don't have to buy anything and so I have less to pack on the way home LOL
November 24, 2025 at 1:51 AM
Yeah, I'm trying to avoid buying anything, and just using up what I have.
November 24, 2025 at 1:50 AM
It was awful.

My mental state after nearly passing out, knowing that I had to go get more blood drawn 😭
November 22, 2025 at 2:03 AM
Had excellent discussions with the surgeons, and it looks like we are all set to go!

More packing will ensue, after I rest and rehydrate.

draw in a few days.

But please, for the love of God, stop rapidly fishing around in people's veins.

People pass out during blood draws not because of them. Because of poor technique.

If you need to adjust, say so, and do it slowly and gently.

You can see by my eyes I was over it 🤣

I had asked the first nurse about this, and she told me no, I had to be stuck twice. 🙄

So it was a very tough day, but I am proud of myself for getting through it, along with the drive. I will be in full rest mode until surgery. 💜

I also had a blood draw yesterday.

And I have another big blood

Needle and then released it after. That's not the right way. 🙃

I'm not sure where we think we're getting IV access 🤣

And then come to find out at the phlebotomist, I could have just had one poke. I did not need to have labs done at two separate places.
November 22, 2025 at 1:47 AM
Only a short time after nearly passing out onto the floor.

So, it's obvious that the problem was not me 🤣🤣

Also, pretty sure the first nurse blew the vein in my hand, because I have a huge mound where she went in.

I think she had left the tourniquet on full blast and she had withdrawn the

Snagged the plastic tubing and ripped the needle out of my arm.

I felt some blood trickling out of my arm, as I am on blood thinners, lumbrokinase, and an anti-platelet.

So, we had to go into a different spot.

Thankfully, the second blood draw was accomplished without issue.
November 22, 2025 at 1:47 AM
Gave her the rundown of what happened and basically laid down the ground rules. You're going to use this arm, and you're not going to fish the needle around in the vein unless you want me passing out.

She got it on the first attempt no issues. Unfortunately she turned around to grab the tubes and
