My dracaena has flowered!

I didn’t even know they did flower.

It’s been sitting on the windowsill of a cold, gloomy room for years, watered in fits and starts.

"A perfectly temporary distraction?" he repeated, the phrase stripped of all humor. He exhaled slowly. "Wow. That's... Some brutal honesty. But," Leo continued, his voice tight, "the problem with calling me a perfectly temporary distraction is that it ignores the fact that I was being real for the few hours I was there.”

It looks deceptively harmless, but if you ignore the rules, you pay for it later." She glanced pointedly at him. Leo chuckled, holding his hands up in mock surrender. "Point taken.”
