There's so many weird things broken with Solus lately it's getting ridiculous at this point.

i'm gonna stick with mint for a while though. Distrohopping takes a lot out of me, and Cinnamon's been pretty neat so far. Not super customizable but it's way better than GNOME so far

Getting my distrohopping urges out of my system by trying out different things on my (now spare) ThinkPad...
I just keep thinking "I should just put Aurora or Bluefin back on this" because damnit if I just keep finding myself wanting to *not* have to tinker!

Sucks I for various reasons never had "the" setup I'm nostalgic for. I was always distrohopping and/or customizing shit so heavily or running ludicrous setups (2006 Core Duo iMac with 2GB of RAM on 10.6.8 which was so fucking old even in 2017-2019 that I had to use a Haiku VM for IRC w/TLS 1.2)

Kde is basically the windows10 look and feel for linux, that's not a distro, that's a desktop enviroment. Distrohopping is a thing exactly because people want things handed to them done instead of doing the bare minimum of effort.
Ubuntu is the most basic of distros, kubuntu is that w/ kde.

dudo muchísimo que haga distrohopping por *eso* solamente (aunque sea un coñazo), y prefiero quedarme en debian por lo menos un añito o unos meses y mientras ver cómo funciona cada distro (que creo que quitando los packages manager y otras cuestiones elegir una u otra es más gusto que otra cosa)

con debian estoy contento y tranquilo, pero el coñazo que es instalar un programa fuera del repo oficial... y los AUR me miran con unos ojitos... que son 3 líneas de comando...
