I failed to check the weather and to my surprise, a light layer of snow formed early this morning. The flowers are unfortunately blanketed in it.

Starzzy had a little peek of the white fluff on the birdhouse and porch railing. Jimmingbird stayed inside.

Probbbably the last #mediarpatiogarden2025 update this year. The days are growing shorter and colder, but got my last harvest of jalapenos, the marigolds are hanging on for deer life as are the dipladenias. Winter is coming, as they say. 😭😭
Also my $60 solar-powered irrigation system worked great!

Rio Dipladenias are versatile and low maintenance. They only need 4 hrs of sun, are drought tolerant continuous bloomers and attract lots of pollinators. They're great in hanging baskets, pots & in ground.🌱

Las petunias parecen delicadas pero matarlas es muy difícil, una planta agradecida que da muchas flores mucho tiempo. Las dipladenias también son bellas pero el pulgón acaba con ellas, hay que ir controlando para quitarlo. Y al final las Kalibrachoas una belleza de color.

My aunt gave me Rio Dipladenias and Marigolds. I didn't ask her to. I didn't want dipladenias, but I planted them before removing the weeds from the garden, because they were going to die.

The roses and daylilies were from years ago.

The extended growing season was fun while it lasted. I’m attempting some overwintering. Before the snow, I repotted and brought in 2 dipladenias indoors (on some new shelves) and 4 bell pepper plants into the garage. These peppers had grown to 4-5 feet tall in the raised beds this year.🌱
