Exactly 5 years ago I wasn't allowed to leave the flat because of quarantine...and since eating alone was stupid, I just ate soup with BigKuma.

to be fair, she coordinates with *most* things in my home, ahem. I swear my home was like this before I adopted her, and she was *literally* the only cat I could get my hands on to adopt over the 3 month period I was approved at 5 difft shelters. (COVIDtime and G was avail b/c she had "issues")

it just feels like stringerbelling everything is going to involve an online-comms lockdown surpassing the height of COVIDtime physical lockdown. Which doesn't work for me, though of course others are feel to weigh their own inputs according to their own judgement.

But COVIDtime is its own thing; it doesn't mark the beginning of a decade afaict. There was a way in which COVID year 1, the George Floyd killing, all the way through January 6 felt like the miserable denouement of the Trump era.
