Netflixで映画「CODE8 / コード・エイト PART2」観た
前作から5年後の話
完全に続きなので、観るならちゃんと1から観た方がいい
今回は汚職警官から強力な超能力を持つ少女を守るという展開で、前作より筋が平凡になったものの、エンタメ的にはわかりやすくなっている
善良だけど直上的で思慮がたりない主人公コナーを、反社のボスだが大局観があり情深いギャレットが、衝突しながらも弟のように気にかけているのがエモくて良い
あとロボット警官の他に新たにロボット警察犬が出てきて、デザインや挙動などメカメカしくてかっこよかった
なかなかおもしろかったし、設定もキャラも良いからパート3作ってほしいな

Not bad, but considering I watched Code8 just a few days ago I've already pretty much forgotten the entire film. Had to click back to remind myself what it was. So, maybe 3* was generous for something so unmemorable.

I saw the sequel to #Code8 was released this week, so I thought I’d double feature the original and the sequel today! I thought the original was pretty cool and I’m glad I backed it on Kickstarter. It’s cool they got to make a sequel! 😁

ネトフリで「CODE8/コード・エイト」を観た。ネトフリが続作の方をプッシュしてくるので、それじゃあ前作の方からチェックするかということで観てみたんだけど、これが全然面白くない。かつて活躍した超能力者たちが、今では邪魔者扱いされているという設定は、まんま「Mr.インクレディブル」で、焼き直し感が強い。ストーリー展開は単調で、「なるほど、ここからクライマックスに向かうのだな」と期待が膨らむところで終わる。盛り上がりもしないしヒネリもない。派手な超能力バトル的なものもない。おもしろポイントが全く見当たらない。何だこれ？
