#CAMRA’s
There's plenty of pubs in CAMRA's Good Beer Guide which rarely stock traditional Bitters or Milds.

🍺 Having been back in CAMRA's national Pub of the Year (Tamworth Tap) only last month, I'm hoping to get to their Club of the Year (see below) this month.
Fortuitously, Sutton Utd recently played at Tamworth and are soon to play Hartlepool Utd away. ⚽️ 🙂

Pub news: The Royal Blenheim is the winner of Oxford CAMRA's 'City Pub of the Year' title, having narrowly lost the title to the Grapes last year. The Grapes came second this year, with the Masons Arms in Headington Quarry again coming third.

That's a heck of a pub crawl, Dean. I chair Heavy Woollen District CAMRA and I'm pleased you got to a couple of our pubs, but just to clarify, Ossett is in Wakefield CAMRA's area, not ours. If I see you back in the Navi, I'll buy you a pint.

We’re thrilled to announce that we have been voted as Sheffield Central CAMRA’s Pub of the Year! 🍻 We’re incredibly proud of this award, and would like to thank all of the CAMRA members for their votes. It’s class to be recognised for selling fantastic and brilliantly kept cask ale! 🍻

It's so weird the things we end up stockpiling in our homes.
I have almost every magazine I ever subscribed to.
Dozens of copies of Starburst (a Sci-fi film & TV mag from the 90s) Empire, Total Film, and PC Gamer, but also Beer magazine (CAMRA's magazine), Fangoria & American Cinematographer.

I saw this description over on Camra's forum the other day, and it sums it up nicely:

"If someone wrote to a newspaper, asking them to take an existing picture of a child, edit it to make it look like it was in a sexual position, and publish it, they would refuse, and if they didn’t...

Never heard of it. Don't participate in it. I don't believe in New Year's resolutions. To be fair, I rarely drink. But that's because I am just SOOOO picky. I don't like lager. Any lager. I like British Real Ale (I follow CAMRA's recommendations) & I drink them only in the UK. They don't travel.
Why You Should Skip Dry January
There are better ways to establish healthy behaviors than to completely abstain from alcohol for just one month.

It's definitely an old fashioned corner boozer.
Bram who runs it is a ticker of reknown, it's all cask, cash only, but the range is superb from great indy breweries and the quality is unrivilled.
A short 15 min walk out of the city centre, and on Camra's Heritage Inventory.

🍻 Here at B33R@33 we’re not political, but we do support a fairer deal. That’s why we back CAMRA’s campaign for fairer business rates for pubs and bars. Rising costs need common-sense solutions — not closures. 🍺

Its definitiely NOT part of the thrill of cask ale, even if that was some of CAMRA's first writings. *Someone point me to that peice*
