so I was taught years ago that if you put a plus in your email, everything between the plus and the @ is ignored and it still gets routed to the right place
so you could do username@emailservice.com and username+bsky2@emailservice.com and bsky will treat them as separate emails, but both go to you.

the core concept always was "make atproto a functional, interoperable standard" so like... bsky2 will inevitably be made. So will bskybutnazi, etc, if atproto even remotely takes off.
If or when they sell out they've designed it to be easy for users to ditch them as a corp.

Theoretically, the uprooting could be less disruptive this time, since if someone else makes a Bluesky v2, we'll be able to take our accounts with us. Blacksky is already up and running supporting that. Remains to be seen how many people want to run a BSky2 though.

But bsky is a protocol so each Bsky can talk to other Bskys on the network. Ban a bigot on Bsky1 and they can talk on Bsky2 etc.
