#BritishColumbia - I am not surprised & probably will be coming across Canada. A family member worked in the meat business for a long time & even 10 yrs ago there was already huge thefts - they hired “secret shoppers to monitor it” & bring people to justice if they were caught.

The sun pierces the forest canopy casting a warm glow on everything it touches. I feel much like the sunspots caught in my lens. It's Fall, the ferns on the forest floor have rebounded from the summer heat, although the lush canopy of Cathedral Grove provides much protection for the shade-loving vegetation: Further moderation is provided by nearby Cameron Lake. The trees on this part of the trail are young in comparison to some of the giants further in, many trunks, living and dead exceed six feet in diameter.
