Had a quick writing session tonight and finished the first draft of my new project- it's only 800 words and something a little different to my usual stuff.
Working title is 'Kill All Humans,' but not convinced it's a suitable title 🤔

I opened up a paper that I wrote way back in 2012 about the mine I worked at in my first real job. I'm pretty happy with that paper, a little proud of it, even. Here's one of my favorite figures. Blasthole Cu data for an entire bench. That data density (~20 m, iirc) reveals so many patterns!

f you're concerned about rising iPhone prices, why not build a rare earth metal "victory mine" in your own backyard? It's easy with tools you probably have around the house (rotary blasthole drill, gravity concentrater, high capacity XL-class vibrating screen, a few dozen wage laborers, scissors)
