After over a year of tireless campaigning to #AxeTheFamilyFarmTax, I am pleased that the Government has finally listened to farmers, the Liberal Democrats, and their own MPs and made a partial u-turn on this ill-thought-out policy.

It is clear that this Government neither understands nor values this country's farming communities.

Yesterday, I voted against the Family Farm Tax as part of the Government's Finance Bill.

This is not over yet.
