Testing APIs? Stop guessing what's running under the hood. Use InQL's Engine Fingerprinter in Burp to identify the #GraphQL stack in seconds and save yourself the trial and error.

that doesn’t mean frameworks should blaze paths though. it feels like you’re saying that the web ought to stagnate because it can’t make any standards out of the fear of being judged incorrect later. isn’t that true of every standard? ffmpeg, and geolocation apis as they exist today etc? 2/

On Android especially, it's easy to get trapped by the details of where tests are running. There are tradeoffs for running on a device/emulator, Robolectric, or without Android APIs available - but I think it's dangerous to have the "where" drive the "why". I like "why" driving "where" as the goal.

I think OSINT can be good to combine with data analysis in general (so what @frodehommedal.bsky.social is talking about), it's the same skillset set you need to figure out other stuff from apis and scraping. Python is probably the best programming language to start. Basic data ETL pipelines.

They had it build a live ISS tracking dashboard

It:

• Pulled real-time telemetry from APIs
• Built a responsive UI
• Simulated day/night cycles with physics

Next.js installs will soon include version-matched docs, giving agents context on new and recently updated APIs.

In our evals, this improved success rates by ~20%.

it could be cool if they don't use the social image and instead do a richer more accessible expansion but I would expect they will call our APIs in that case. I don't see how new apps would compete on a fair ground if they have to ask discord to do an appview for their records

Apple is not making this easy. I need a developer account ($99) in order to use the Apple Music APIs.

Plan B is to programmatically create the playlist on Spotify then import it to apple music

Autoscaler works well, but its reliance on Auto Scaling Groups introduces latency and bin-packing inefficiencies. Karpenter takes a different approach, calling cloud APIs directly to provision nodes in seconds and actively consolidating underutilized (3/4)

this means acme clients will no longer need to implement a long tail of dns apis to offer wildcard support, which is amazing

It’s simple: you just answer Win / Draw / Loss, or switch to play / analyze to test a line (thanks to @lichess.org 's tablebase APIs). Initially it was only king and pawn vs king, but it kind of grew into more endgame types.

Years ago, when the Facebook API was called Facebook Connect there was a browser named Flock (not related to the current evil thing) that promised social web browsing.

It kind of didn't live up to the promise because social network APIs didn't offer enough there but I feel Atproto is ripe for this.

On one hand, they have a seamless, automated tech stack for small items. APIs fire, labels print, and customers get instant gratification.

On the other hand, their heavy goods (furniture, fitness gear, industrial equipment) are stuck in the dark ages of manual friction.
