On Android especially, it's easy to get trapped by the details of where tests are running. There are tradeoffs for running on a device/emulator, Robolectric, or without Android APIs available - but I think it's dangerous to have the "where" drive the "why". I like "why" driving "where" as the goal.

I think OSINT can be good to combine with data analysis in general (so what @frodehommedal.bsky.social is talking about), it's the same skillset set you need to figure out other stuff from apis and scraping. Python is probably the best programming language to start. Basic data ETL pipelines.

It’s simple: you just answer Win / Draw / Loss, or switch to play / analyze to test a line (thanks to @lichess.org 's tablebase APIs). Initially it was only king and pawn vs king, but it kind of grew into more endgame types.

Years ago, when the Facebook API was called Facebook Connect there was a browser named Flock (not related to the current evil thing) that promised social web browsing.
It kind of didn't live up to the promise because social network APIs didn't offer enough there but I feel Atproto is ripe for this.
