Im starting to see a trend of animation studios cutting together process reels and marketing their work as “We don’t or didn’t use AI” this definitely feels like an alternate art market. Idk if its big enough for everyone but its a hopeful sign.

I really can't wrap my head around Arc System doing AI art more or less of any kind.

mfs worried about AI music while looping the same pop beat for decades. AI just exposes that most of it is repeatable patterns.
maybe that's good. maybe it pushes us to value live energy and real experimentation more.
the industry will optimize anyway. the real question is how we keep art human.

TLDR: I'm not pro or anti AI, I am neutral. People should be able to do what they want. Authentic art should, and will, still exist. Just ignore it, stop the hate.

And I hand-make art all the time. I enjoy it. And I just simply think this is being blown up way out of proportion. It has gotten so bad. I think it's disgusting that most of the internet feels its okay. See AI? Just move along. You don't have to like it, so you don't have to acknowledge it.

because art takes time
art takes love pain and things into consideration that you cant do on a calculator or in a couple seconds

I might just being trying to cope. I just hate the concept of AI “art” I hate that its possible this tech wipes me out like so many colonial forces have done to others. Being a str wht American man I might even deserve it. But drawing is worth fighting for to me.

on one hand i understand ppl that put big NO AI watermark on their art, on the other hand i don't think it's doing anything... it's not like scraper bots can read/ppl that manually feed art into the machine care about respecting boundaries,
