"Within the Ornament".

I played with the seasonal theme to redo “Shallow Depth of Field”, or maybe it's “Self Portrait” 😅

For my 52Frames photo this week, I am repeating “Architecture.” Frank Lloyd Wright’s Price Tower in Bartlesville, OK is “the tree that escaped the crowded forest” because it was intended for New York with its forest of skyscrapers and escaped to the plains. #52Frames_redo #photography #architecture

I welcomed the chance to redo my lack-luster effort on the #52frames_water theme with this long exposure of the rapids at sunrise on the James River. I've attached the awful "eggs in boiling water" continuity shot I used earlier in the year. #52frames #52frames_redo #rva #eastcoastkin #jamesriver
A long exposure photograph captures the flow of the James River, creating a smooth, blurred effect on the water's surface. The river winds its way through a rocky landscape, with dark grey rocks scattered throughout the scene. Some of these rocks are partially submerged in the water, while others stand tall. The light is soft and diffused, casting a pinkish-purple hue across the water and rocks, indicating sunrise light. The movement of the water is emphasized by the long exposure, giving it a silky, ethereal quality. There's a sense of tranquility and peacefulness conveyed by the gentle flow of the river. This is my official submission for this week. A close up view of white eggs in boiling water. Bubbling ripples are present in the water suggesting an active boil with 4 white eggs positioned at the edges of the frame. This was my original rushed shot submitted during a busy week when the "Water" theme came up earlier this year.
