Went for the extra credit but decided to scramble things up. Here's both versions of my photo (out of order and in order) for #52frames_time #52frames. The family consensus is for the "in order" version but I kind of like the "out of order" version better.

I love #sportsphotography but I never imagined I'd find myself shooting #polo. Interesting sport. The horses are amazing athletes and the skill at directing them by the riders is phenomenal. I'm still figuring out the angles.

Some thoughts about the military parade in my hometown of Washington DC today -- specifically, the route. Military parades in DC are quite rare. But when they happen, they have always begun, symbolically and geographically, at the Capitol and moved outward. 1/

On this #Flagday I decided to go visit our local, small replica of the Statue of #Liberty and I'm glad I did. This is what I found at the base of it. #nokings "At the will of the People" Take a minute to read the poem in the final image (alt text provided). #rva #richmondva
Piece of paper with "A la volonte du Peuple" written on it lying on a cobble stones with a red string attached. It translates to "At the will of the People". A smaller version of the Statue of Liberty with trees behind it and some items arranged at the base. Items at the base of the statue including flowers, a glass bottle that served as a candle, a piece of paper with "À la volonté du Peuple" meaning "At the will of the People". There is also a basket containing a page with a longer poem on it, and a bell and a hammer to ring the bell.
