Went for the extra credit but decided to scramble things up. Here's both versions of my photo (out of order and in order) for #52frames_time #52frames. The family consensus is for the "in order" version but I kind of like the "out of order" version better.

Which do you prefer?

I love #sportsphotography but I never imagined I'd find myself shooting #polo. Interesting sport. The horses are amazing athletes and the skill at directing them by the riders is phenomenal. I'm still figuring out the angles.

On this #Flagday I decided to go visit our local, small replica of the Statue of #Liberty and I'm glad I did. This is what I found at the base of it. #nokings "At the will of the People" Take a minute to read the poem in the final image (alt text provided). #rva #richmondva
Piece of paper with "A la volonte du Peuple" written on it lying on a cobble stones with a red string attached. It translates to "At the will of the People". A smaller version of the Statue of Liberty with trees behind it and some items arranged at the base. Items at the base of the statue including flowers, a glass bottle that served as a candle, a piece of paper with "À la volonté du Peuple" meaning "At the will of the People". There is also a basket containing a page with a longer poem on it, and a bell and a hammer to ring the bell. The sunrise just above the horizon line over the ocean with a reflected sunrise in the water. A wave breaks in the mid-foreground. In the sky towards the top left the silhouette of a seagull can be seen. The clouds in the sky and the water below where the wave breaks shows horizontal streaks from left to right. This is where I have applied the "Adamski Effect" to the photo. It is an editing effect where "motion blur" is deliberately applied to parts of the image that aren't the main subject while the main subject is kept sharp. In this case the main subject is the breaking wave and the bird in the sky. The original concept for this effect comes from the works of Josh Adamski.
