ダスプレトサウルスって恐竜、実はティラノサウルス・レックスの親戚なの！🦖✨

大きくて二足歩行で、鋭い歯が特徴なんだって。🐾 前足は小さかったけど、他のティラノサウルスの仲間と比べるとちょっとだけ大きめだったみたいだよ。👑
この恐竜は、ケラトプスやハドロサウルスっていう草食恐竜を食べていたと考えられてるんだって。🌿

同属には3種（D. torosus、D. wilsoni、D. horneri）が知られる
新標本は新標本はD. horneriには該当せず、D. wilsoniと層序的に一致するが、D. wilsoniを特徴づけるとされる形質の一部を欠く
よってD. wilsoniがD. torosusと異なる有効な種であるかどうかは不確実
D. wilsoniがD. torosusから進化した中間形態であるという仮説は、追加標本と層序的データが必要

バッカーの伝説の復元画https://blog.everythingdinosaur.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/bakker_deinonychus_web.jpgがデイノニクスのモノグラフ（Ostrom, 1969b）の口絵なわけで、一方で恐竜100万年（リメイク版）が66年で、恐竜グワンジが69年で、そうこうしてるうちに70年にはティラノサウルスのニューマン復元とかラッセルのダスプレトサウルスの記載が出てくるし、そこから何年かでキッシュの一連の復元画が出てきてしまうので、この辺はいま振り返るとだいぶ壮絶な感じがある

このあたりの事、私にはよくわからないのですが、これまでいろいろ議論がある中で、この研究ではダスプレトサウルスとティラノサウルス族が姉妹群ということかな？
