Not long after, a young woman is found dead in a drab Bodø apartment.

And that is the first full week of 2026 complete. And I didn’t write the wrong year down once at work, which has to be a record. Because it was a full week at work, and a particularly snowy and icy one too, I have done literally nothing of note, been nowhere exciting, and have taken none pictures. Essentially, I just survived and worked.

And another week passes us by. Seven days closer to Christmas. Seven more days of reading and not writing reviews - do not ask how many I have to catch up on now. I am trying not to think about it. Decisions have been (sort of) made, and I am still not sure how I feel about it. But the big thing this week is that #Bookvent is well and truly underway and my first eight books have, as of this morning, been revealed!
