Contemplating severing ties with Twitter/X for good. In order to do that I want to try to find more bookish friends here on Bluesky. Would love to follow bookbloggers with similar tastes to mine. I love mysteries, thrillers, historical fiction, literary fiction, and women's fiction. #BookSky 📚💙

I read this book last month, but at first couldn't find the words to review it. As many of you probably have gleaned by now, Fredrik Backman is my favourite author. He never disappoints. His innate understanding of human nature proves that he is an 'old soul' in a young man's body. This time out, he writes of true friendship. Four teenagers who all come from families that are dysfunctional in one way or another, form a bond so great that it transcends time.

They say you can never have a second chance to make a good first impression. A book’s cover does just that – gives a first impression. A good cover can make a reader pick up a book. A bad cover can leave the book at the very bottom of a dusty pile. The covers of novels entice the reader to enter a different world.

narrated by Diveen Henry The author of this crime thriller debut is a criminal solicitor in London. My first thoughts are that I hope she hasn't had to personally encounter anyone quite as evil as the serial killers in this novel. As many of you know, I'm a sucker for a good British police procedural. This one had many of the features I liked.
