This by former Turkish PM indicates extent to which Turkey sees the Israeli recognition of Somaliland as a threat to Turkish interests and to other Muslim-majority states, especially Egypt and Saudi Arabia. Egypt has expressed alarm with some pointing finger at UAE for role.

Yagur is retired, has no official capacity, but had served as the deputy head of the Palestinian arena in the Israeli Army.
