please be wary of any alternatives/clones to mare that will pop up. it will blow ass to have to go without anything for a while, but exercise caution. i theorize that this is going to invite some bad actors who want to try and take advantage of desperate people
i think that event flew WAY too close to the sun. there was no way that it wasn't going to have backlash in some fashion. an entire server got congested for weeks and made it so people on the server couldn't play

i cannot stress enough that you must be able to earnestly engage with people telling you that you fucked up, reflect on that harm, and apologize to the people you hurt in a meaningful manner to learn and do better. you must hold your friends to that, too.

I really do believe AI is inherently fascist. Both the resources it takes to generate and the soullessness of its output render it entirely irredeemable, but it also hollows out any meaning we can get from communication and art and reduces human life to an aesthetic it wears like a skinsuit.
