honestly looking back it was kind of a dated reference for the Christian inspirational speakers who came to my school to be targeting eminem as an example of degenerate behavior like he wasn't even relevant enough for that to be happening

part of why I hate the local shop is that they charge like 6 dollars for iced espresso with a splash of oatmilk but they also don't understand what I ask for when I just ask for espresso.

The three months of boycotting starbucks over their mistreatment of employees has really laid bare that this country is a fucking wasteland for just PASSABLE coffee shop fare.

My username in one channel being Rufus Sandwich because I was trying to remembers oomfs name and I remember it usually by thinking "that's the name of a sandwich" but I could not for the life of me arrive at "rueben" so I kept thinking "it can't possibly be rufus...is there a Rufus Sandwich...no.."

In my queer lit class I remember bringing up the concept of queerness involving a "radical no" as well as a radical yes. my prof really vibed with the idea. queerness isn't only about saying yes to everyone and everything, it can also be about saying no to normative sex expectations! idk why that's

Im not even surprised by it coming from other queer women. my good friend is bi but chooses not to date men and when she relayed this to a bi coworker, said coworker got very "you just haven't had the right dick yet. You should really go out and fuck more men." very fast.

it's because they still want queer to mean "sexually available to everyone" and feel actively threatened by the concept of anyone's sexuality running counter to that.
