I think switching to a tiling manager has made me realize how in your face and annoying desktop environments can be
It is so annoying turning on my Mac or a Windows system and seeing a million notifications and prompts and update warnings from a bunch of proprietary software

This is PAID SOFTWARE and it requires more fiddling than something like TrueNAS or just doing this by hand in a normal Linux distro
