This article just says she was arrested for battery and her attorney says she has no criminal record. Both can be true. I'm with the attorney when he says "show us the proof." I have absolutely no reason to trust what ICE or anybody in this administration says.

I think the line he was SUPPOSED to say was something like this: "Christians are more likely than the general population is to foster or adopt children."
Where I land: Most generous interpretation is that he misread/misspoke the concept "adapt" for that of "adopt."
