obviously Comey sucks but this whole thing is hilarious. First big name they target is a life long Republican FBI director.

Favorite part of Van Morrison is how much he enunciates, you can really hear every word of the beautiful lyrics come through.

Another example of this is many J6 defendants were honestly shocked that they got in trouble for it. Like people were posting video evidence of themselves committing crimes without a care in the world.

The core MAGA people also have a weird tendency to not really treat politics as being real. Like the way they see massive conspiracies but mostly take only the mildest actions to address them. The way they need to be constantly entertained and fed new “content.” Seems different

"they call it DSA folks! and a lot of people like Zohran and they are saying DSA! but I can tell you that it's something that's very special and is being said and recognized more and more. Lot of smart people are saying it"

This is insane he seriously got charmed so much by Zohran he’s just forgotten everything. Lmao.

certainly an interesting choice to sit down while Zohran stands over his shoulder. wtf

my technique is to go "i really need to get better at (x)" and then start practicing that until 10 minutes later when I go "but I also need to get better at (x)" and start playing that

As a Hornets fan this analogy worked perfectly for me

I think there are probably fewer full on "I lost everything and went flat broke" problem gamblers and many many more younger guys into gambling on sports/crypto and who are hundreds or a few thousand $ per year poorer because of it, which has to have an affect on economic sentiment.

the underlying idea was that crypto was going to continue to go up, basically forever, and the people (like me) who don't own it are stupid losers who don't understand investing. It was always hard to separate "investing" from "ego driven risk seeking behaviors meant to address psychological needs"

I knew a guy in his 30s who is a small business owner with significant crypto investments who is also big into gambling on sports, and the kind of self-satisfied "have fun staying poor!" gloating over owning crypto and having it go up up up was on full display

And like immediately too. The 2nd season much worse than the first. And the last season I barely remember because it was so stupid, boring and pointless
