Thread. I suggested that this was likely to happen in someone else's mentions the other day. Gaiman is no longer laying golden eggs, there's no reason for DC not to kill him,
Anyway, I had a thought about Neil Gaiman vis-à-vis the Sandman franchise, that I'm sure someone must have brought up before and if so, I've not seen it.
Basically, though DC owns Sandman outright, they played nice with NG because they didn't want a repeat of what happened with Alan Moore.
