Close up pencil drawing of an eye looking to it's left/straight forward, with what looks like spiders legs crawling out from the bottom lid. There appears to be bits of spider web around the eye. I wanted to create the effect of a sinister symbiotic relationship. The 'host' looks strangely complicit. The artwork is entitled 'Home'. A charcoal drawing on toned paper I did of a photograph I took of my friend's daughter. The angle is from below, and the lighting is creating subtle eerie shadows. I wanted a macabre effect to this art, it is unclear if this is a floating head... and also her eyes are translucent, so she appears in a trance. There are mysterious marking down the side of her cheek Pencil and acrylic drawing I did of Henry Cavill as The Witcher. A side profile in monotone, there is a hint of the Witcher also riding horseback within his hairline. An old artwork, this artwork is pencil, charcoal and acrylic of a young woman looking to the left, she has her hand to her chest, and I have kept the saturation quite low, painting in sepia, golden tones. She has what looks like feathers over her eyes. She is visible from the shoulder up. I wanted to create an old fashioned effect with this art.

If there's anything I hope young creatives take from David Lynch, it's to reject the modern IP-driven impulse to explicitly explain and cleanly categorize the logic behind every single event and decision inside and outside of a story at least some of the time.
