Writer of stuff. Thirtysomething old fuck. Weird Baltimore person.

Just realized I could do this. Bask in my computer illiteracy:

Lover of most things puppetry related, offbeat, and anti-establishment.
Some wins, some losses on the publishing front. Working on a cool premise for someone's novelette/novella imprint and hoping that takes. Also writing a Hitchhiker's homage.

(Still think this month's existence on the calendar might be as terrible as Mona Lisa Saperstein.)

A good piping hot cup of darker-than-a-reverend's-soul tea for one, and warm showers for another. (Current projects.) Probably mango smoothies or the love of his parents for one of the past guys.

Best we can do is an offer of one spearmint gum wrapper that's still minty fresh. (We're an independent online newspaper.)

What is your stance on the sporadic production of paper airplanes by a largely juvenile workforce taking place for decades in state-funded schools?

It's basically a guy taking current events and dripping them through the used coffee filter that was 2020's The Hunt and then thinking he's the next George Orwell, isn't it?

This is also true for the folks that want to bury their heads in the sand so that they can be 'mindful' and 'self-heal.' Which now makes me want to go and research the wellness industry in the Axis powers leading up to and during the war.

Very short I'm afraid, but basically the gist.

Should probably add that old #writing tag. Also...heck with it. It's a #prompt now, folks. Flash sand flea infestation horror. Do your worst.

The German courts have been deliberating on this for years with sampling, so there's a lot of precedence there. It's pretty evident that a machine can't really transform a work in the same way that a living breathing artist can, so pro arguments would be moot.

Music Sampling Does Not Infringe on Copyright, But…
The German Supreme Court (BGH) clarified last week that sampling does not infringe on copyright in the work from which samples were taken for the purpose of creating a new work. There is a catch hidin...

The legend lives on from the Chippewa on down
Of the big lake, they called Gitche Gumee
The lake, it is said, never gives up her dead
When the skies of November turn gloomy

Can relate to this one. Never quite unraveled if it's SAD or just the trauma of a dysfunctional household where it seemed mandatory to have big upheavals during the holidays, or if it's because one of my favorite aunts died during this month.

We are literally murdering people at sea because of this. And she's of course a racist POS. And it came up because of Hillary.

That's the stupid timeline we're all living in.

All my ghosts have bones,
Save for the spineless few.
Chilled and sun dried, I've
Offered them up to the winds
Of the altiplano, to let ants
Be beadwork in their sockets.
To forget them there.
Yet they followed me down to my
Valley of woe all the same.

Space comedy and cyberpunk. Like stuff like Redshirts, Fuzzy Nation, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy as well as say, Idoru and Snow Crash.

Pretty sure that's Smithers and Mr. Burns.

As someone who badgers flesh and blood people within eyesight of me to either start writing or to keep writing, who loved to do round robins in my college years, I'd have to go with a big hearty 'Yes please!' It's so fun to play off another creative mind.
