I think women characters should be allowed to be selfish and cruel and mean. For plot. That’s fine!!! But then it’s not a story about girl power! It is not a story about female rage!! it is a story about a selfish woman who suddenly finds herself in an unselfish world!!! That’s the point!!

Yes women should be a little more selfish, but a city dropping everything to fill a grocery store with produce that she could never eat, just to make her feel better, is also not okay!! It’s a waste!!!! Was that not the point of the scene??????????????

Yeah sure “women are told to keep their emotions in check because they hurt other people” that’s true, but it is Not okay to scream at other people! She was doing something cruel! And the way that her cruelty spiraled out over the whole world is the metaphor and the point!!!!

And when she sits next to the girl and says “oh honey you think you want to join but you don’t.”

like this whole Female Rage interpretation bugs me a bit because yeah no. It’s entitlement actually, she’s patronizing!!!! That cannot have been an accident!

She doesn’t have a family to compare to. She doesn’t have anyone she can look at and see as tied to her. No parents no siblings, just a dead wife. She’s going based off of just vibes and her own loneliness and assuming everyone else must feel the same way.

who DOESNT want to join it. like the white woman is so atomized that she has no family because the person who was her family died in the takeover. and she screams and yells at everyone to listen to her but she literally doesn’t even know that she killed their families.

Here’s a double rainbow I saw this weekend—we don’t get a lot of rain here in general, so rainbows are kind of rare! I was so excited, it was so pretty!
