I did, in fact, present this image to my professor with a straight face

Everyone else in the class proposed architecture projects or interesting artistic explorations into meaning... I'm just really passionate about dating apps and how people present themselves on them

So here’s to remembering the folks who didn’t make it. And hoping that the list doesn’t grow in number next time around. We are a resilient community and we’ll need to be. Look out for each other and support folks who have nowhere else to go. We are not alone, not even now 💖

This has been a very rough year for many reasons, but I have never been close to becoming one of the names read out loud at vigils taking place all over the world today. But a younger Zach could’ve easily been, and I’m thankful that I have the support network and love that I do now.

- Offer to talk to people’s conservative family members as a trans person to humanize trans people for them, because not many other people will have the bandwidth to try reach out to them and correct their misunderstandings
- Bake a lot and provide support to people

- Gather up my friends and chosen family to make sure everyone is okay
- Have frank discussions with the people around me about what direct implications this has for my life so they understand what has happened

- Adjusting my marriage license using my court ordered change of name/gender
- Talk with my obgyn about advantages/disadvantages of a hysterectomy vs possibility of not being able to access hormones
- Reapply for my Philippine citizenship for dual citizenship

Ngl being at Brown University during the 2016 elections was… very rough. Definitely not doing a group watching party again since we all stressed each other out more and there was lots of crying 😅
