Honestly, I often talk things out loud as if I'm talking to another person. It helps me process my emotions. I'm an earth sign, and emotional processing takes longer than logical processing for me.

In my last year as an undergrad, once every 3 weeks my dad's girlfriend at the time would come pick me up at my apartment and buy me groceries. Lovely act of service. Things changed several years later and now she's (thankfully) no longer in our lives, but she was nice once upon a time.
