Southampton Seed Swap 2025 - huge thanks to everyone involved: Bitterne Park Growing Places, Hampshire Community Rail Partnership, Bunker178/Art House Events, Yvonne's Plants. A few thing we'd do differently next time, maybe gazebos outside if the weather is clement!

Not long till Southampton Seed Swap, this year in collaboration with Bitterne Park Growing Places.. Sat 8th March, 11am-2pm.. @ Bitterne Station Community Hub.. we've been re-arranging furniture to fit everything in.. :) Hopefully the weather is kind, & we can pop some chairs/tables outside!
A smalll railway station waiting room is painted with SWR colours - cream with green gloss paintwork. We are looking into this room through the former ticket office hatchway. The floor is the original brown tile. There are various pictures on the walls. Early Spring sunlight spills through the mullioned windows, which are festooned with bunting. On the left hand side of the room is a row of tables with seed boxes on them.. all containing veg, herb & flower seeds. There is a row of chairs on the right hand side.. stacked. There are two stacks of literature next to each other on a dark blue and white polkadot table. These are each different versions of Garden Organic's 'The Veg Grower's Planner'
