Reflection with the end of the academic year… I am gonna miss this class of students that I had the privilege to work with. Another reminder of why I love being in this work. Photo from senior night event earlier this week that made me feel excited.

Today, I spoke in favor of my wife's, Rep Zooey Zephyr's, bill. HB798 would remove the ban on gay marriage in Montana, an outdated piece of code that hangs over all LGBTQ+ people's head.

We love like everyone else. We have families like everyone else.

Ken Klipperstein leaked full passport guidance for trans people:

- X markers will be a focal point
- Existing unexpired passports will remain good
- No guidance on confiscation, but it doesn’t seem like they will
- Renewals less clear but it looks like they will use “a preponderance of evidence”

Sometimes I check translegislation.com to see if they have found any bills that we haven't & if so, if they're ones that are ones we ought to also be checking.
I'd looked once earlier this year & today found that we each are following bills the other hasn't been yet.
