I was quite saddened this morning to see that the new round of Asian tariffs is so threatening to their existence that South Korea is merging with North Korea again, and Japan will do joint military exercises with China because they may need their strength. I guess that's a peace of sorts. ✌

I was recently told the absolute bombshell that American aluminum and copper producers will simply be raising their prices to be in line with the tariff-inflated prices of these metals coming from Canada. This comes in private from a major producer I'm not going to name. 1/2

I have it on good authority that at least some government workers who took the 8 month severance are having their severance denied and are simply being fired instead. This is being used to root out and betray anyone that might have differing views, which is of course how fascist regimes work.

Hot take on Better Man: For Americans, changing Robbie to a monkey could've made sense for an absolute monolith like Freddie Mercury or Bowie. For (to us) an unknown, it seems over-indulgent, unnecessary and baffling. Insulting. The trailer (which we can't escape) was cloying and gratingly cringey.
