Castlevania Nocturne wasn't as good as OG Netflix Castlevania, but considering how high the OG series set the bar and how close Nocturne got to matching, I'd still say Nocturne is pretty damn good.
And for all it espouses of love being the ultimate redeemer, I'm happy it exists, anyway.

I have mixed feelings about Gundam SEED.
The first ten episodes do the remaining 38 a disservice. It finally finds its identity (sorta) separate from G-1979 once they meet the 8th fleet, and shit finally ramps up in an interesting way once they reach Orb at the mid-point, becomes bingeable after.

Ughghghgh, I wish Gundam SEED didn't take 10+ episodes to finally give an old-school franchise fan like me something of significance to chew on, that goes beyond "rehash of Gundam 1979" and undercooked "young protag anime tropes".
