there's this children's book way back with an old lady who confronts a smoky monster who tries to scare her and she doesn't budge. FOR THE LIFE OF ME iunno what it was. It ain't The Old Lady Who Wasn't Afraid of Anything cuz that style is too cutesy, and Google ain't doin jack.

The "Frieren angle" thing, apart from just being delightful, also completely demolishes the pathetic "AI is democratising art" argument. Someone struggling with a difficult drawing received advice from hundreds of strangers who just wanted to help them improve their art.

Some late night thinking..
The fact they went out of their way to do art outside of a milestone anniversary just makes it seem like this is more of a hint.. and the fact that 2 and 7 are the only combination that could possibly look like a 4 put together. 26 and 28 wouldn’t make the shape.

Oh I'm well aware of those studies, but I seriously doubt they take into account the emotional turbulence of "So and So shockingly dies"
They’ve done studies that show that knowing how a story ends does not affect one’s enjoyment of a piece of media.
Regardless of that, if some game/movie/book/etc. is only good if you don’t know the twists then the thing is bad.
