I checked and while the government did update the warnings for Canadians travelling to the US, they only updated the info about new requirements for Canadians planing to stay in the US more than 30 days. The rest of those listed “risks” aren’t new and are considered normal precautions to be taken.
I’d like to correct that Canada has not issued a travel warning. I was excited and went to check. I do believe MP Charlie Angus advised made comments to that effect, but the Canadian government has not.
