went back to RE2 Remake to clear all achievements, it was a lot of fun. can't wait for Requiem at the end of the month :)

i'm somewhere close to finishing it atm, it's really fun open world rpg (sorry, "skyrim-like"). the devs managed to create a unique world, good quests and combat. it definitely deserves more attention, and i hope they can continue working on this franchise

i am usually not someone who cares about graphics, but having started Octopath Traveler II on Switch 2 i can't help but notice that the game is *really* blurry, and it's been bothering me so much that i've been thinking about dropping it, maybe getting it later on PC

This. But also, remember that passion alone doesn't pay the bills. Most indies underprice their games, are ignored by algorithms, undersold, some even unfairly blocked from selling... So check that your money actually moves in the direction you want people surviving and making things.

end of the year always ends up with me playing two kinds of games: a replay of some of my faves (currently finishing Resident Evil 4 Remake, moving on to Half-Life 2 later), and a farming/survival crafting game (eyeing Enshrouded, but also read that Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar is very good)
