Crypt Custodian really nails that sweet spot where combat keeps you engaged and alert, but has yet to cross into “ugh, this is exhausting and overbearing” territory.
Enemy tells and patterns are clear, so difficulty comes from execution, not surprise bullshit.

I’m making my way through Act 2 of Pentiment, and I’m loving it.
Even if I won’t replay it, the weight of the choices makes its replay value obvious. It’s masterclass in narrative design.
I’m glad my ADHD hasn’t gotten in the way. It’s definitely a game I need to be in the right headspace for. 🖊️
