This was inevitable as long as Americans refuse to see the fascism inherent in corporate-controlled government. “Centrist” leaders who think a socially liberal society can survive while their corporate donors do whatever they want are kidding themselves or us. Their “liberalism” paved this road.

Trump can get away with justifying his attack with the idea that he's eliminating Iran's "nuclear weapons program" (that is known to not exist).
But if Iran killed American troops, and the media would show footage, Trump would have support from the broader public for a war he genuinely wants.
