Trigger warning: bugs! I need hivemind help identifying these lil dudes. I have recently found them on the kitchen floor munching on my cat's errant kibble. They're pretty tiny, like around 3mm in length. They squish super easily. I'm not a fan of bugs but can coexist if I know they're not harmful.

I have lived in the Seattle area for 30 years and never owned any Mariners merch. So I bought a hat, and it's pink! 🩷 However 47 brand are dirty liars about "one size fits all" because this hat is clearly made for big heads. Nonetheless I shall wear it and hope the Ms do well!

So I have a very distinct memory as a young child watching Battlestar Galactica (the Lorne Greene as Adama version) as a movie in theatres, but my American friends say it never happened. But I grew up in Canada and I am 100% sure it happened. So I looked it up.

The orange cat likes to chase the grey cat out of her bed when she's asleep. I caught him poised to commit mayhem on her and said "don't be a dick" and received this salty look. He actually refrained from being a dick, for once. Cat parenting win!

Stunning Oriental Poppy growing in my garden. Last summer I removed an ornamental grass that was crowding it out, and it seems to be thanking me in spectacular fashion. Lots of gorgeous giant orange flowers on it this year. 🧡

This doofus is very camera-shy but I caught her at a weak moment when she was enjoying the sunshine and let her guard down. She actually looked at the camera! 🤩
