People do seem to forget how good he was. But that’s weirdly a Jays thing I think (see also Stieb) or maybe a Jays fans self loathing. Jaffe had a good write up about him

I dunno. I feel getting in a (normal) car accident despite obeying all the rules of the road tells us quite clearly that he’s subject to the same laws of probability and risk he holds others too.

I can’t remember who but someone said that Tucker lives around there so it’s probably why the meeting was there and that he obviously would be able to access the newly renovated complex year round.
