An excellent overview of how Bluesky works
With BlueSky finally opening up federation, I think it's time to write up something that explains the whole thing, BlueSky, atproto, the works, in one easy to find place. Just the high level bits, hopefully something that any developer can understand: steveklabnik.com/writing/how-...

Had a great time presenting tonight at Stoked Spoke about a fat bike beach tour we did in Alaska last summer from Soldotna to Homer. Thanks to everyone who came out! Check out our slides and I hope some of y’all try doing a similar ride. We had a blast! docs.google.com/presentation...

It's wild to reflect that it's been almost 5 years since COVID-19 lockdowns drastically shifted my habits and how I interact with the world. I have experienced a lot and grown, but my life is very different than it was before in so many ways. I've almost forgotten what life felt like before 2020.

Sometimes I feel evil how much I love to see car infrastructure crumbling like this. 😈
HEADS UP FOR YOUR EVENING COMMUTE: The westbound I-90 to northbound I-5 off-ramp remains CLOSED in Seattle. Traffic backups are 4+ miles. Use alternate routes!
