Albums are the novels of the music world and we still read novels so yes, I think albums are still cool. I don’t wanna live in a world without albums.
Are albums still cool in 2025, or has the single completely taken over? I just dropped a new record called Kaleidoscope (link below ) and it got me thinking — do people still sit down with full albums, or singles just the way to better capture people’s attention?

This speaks to me in a lot of ways, especially in terms of my upbringing and jumbled, missing childhood memories. It's perfect for Halloween but it's also been a while since I've felt such a strong emotional connection to a song.

Overheard a lady talking to her furloughed son on the phone, saying when the government reopens (lol) he'll get all his back pay, so it's a good thing because it's like he's saving money. And uh I just can't

I know folks have been litigating the value of these protests all week, and I would remind those who have been eyerolling that one VERY important part of mass dissent is making it impossible to round up all the dissenters.

They see the crowds and have to reevaluate gulag plans
You know the mass protests work because Team Trump has been freaking out about them

A TON of Tulsans showed up in the pouring rain and wind to stand in solidarity and protest Trump's hateful, tyrannical behavior. I'm personally not comfortable in huge crowds or noisy environments (unless maybe a band is making the noise, haha)
After a week of ridiculous Republican smears and Trump claiming that “very few people are going to be there,” you just made history. #NoKings

The government does not track how often immigration agents grab citizens. So ProPublica did. Our tally — almost certainly incomplete — includes people who were held for days without a lawyer. And near...
