Everyone pretending like the national guard attacking teenagers is some shocking or offensive development. We've seen how America reacts to slaughtered children. The military could mow them down with machine guns tomorrow and the biggest reaction would be a Saturday protest the following month.

I can see it already. Americans are just so disconnected from the reality of the situation that has unfolded in their country. There's going to be at least 3 massacres before they stop saying "don't be violent, take it to the courts!" and actually take real action.

Daily gratitude: I'm grateful that for the last few weeks, with all of the shit going on in the world, I haven't had to hear Charlie Kirk's fucking opinion on any of it.

It's insane to watch ICE literally wage a violent war against American citizens, kidnapping them, disappearing them, killing them, and then to go online to see these dirtbag pacifists say "don't respond. Don't resist. They want you to do that." Imagine the privilege you have to say that shit.

In another twist of irony and poetic justice, Charlie Kirk was assassinated by a 'Groyper,' a faction of the alt-right. This was nothing more than a feud between two white gangs, and Charlie's final words just so happen to be "gang violence."

Things are going to get really bad in the US. There was a full on political assassination two weeks ago and nobody batted an eye. That was the litmus test and Americans failed. There will be more killings.

They're literally wearing red caps. The military is MAGA.
TRUMP: Los Angeles would be burning today, just like their houses were burning months ago. Generations of Army heroes did not shed their blood on distant shores only to watch our country be destroyed by invasion ... as commander in chief, I will not let that happen

FORT BRAGG TROOPS: *Hurrrraa!*

This is part of it. It's intentional. They want these troops sleepless and uncomfortable, irritable and mentally drained. They want them quick to anger and trigger-happy.

How are American babies being kidnapped and trafficked under purview of the US government and NOBODY is in the streets? What a sick, fucked up culture of people.

Reddit is a god damn nazi harbour. They are removing thousands of anti-authoritarian comments, banning the accounts in the process, and the front page is so quiet from all the news related to the Trump madness.

Insanity
We’ve talked about this before, but we wanted to expand on it a little more. Late last week, Elon Musk’s so-called “Department of Government Efficiency” (DOGE) effectively took control of the Department of the Interior without a single Senate confirmation, public hearing, or vote.

All I ask of people who proclaim positive generalisations of what America is or who Americans are is just to offer some evidence. Because if you asked me "who are Americans?" I would say they are hateful, frightened, bigoted and cowardly. And would point to the American government and the american
It isn't that America lacks courage. It's that we’ve become so cut off from one another that many of us feel alone, which makes us feel afraid.

But when we are surrounded by courageous people, all of us become more courageous.

Courage is contagious.

Tyrants prey on people who feel unsafe, vulnerable, and alone.

But when we find ourselves surrounded by courageous people and brave institutions, we can more easily find courage inside ourselves.

This is the beauty of solidarity.

I don't know how people are partying at #Coachella - parties are meant to be a celebration, but what is there to celebrate when your future is falling into darkness before you, your neighbours are being kidnapped, and your economy is collapsing?

It's not celebration. It's distraction.
