This is a big feature we’ve been working on for a bit and it’s really cool. You essentially get a private, language-agnostic software repository integrated with your developer environment.
We are excited to share Flox 1.5! With this pivotal release, users can build packages and publish them into the Flox Catalog for the first time. New subcommands have been added and there is a new section in the manifest to define package outputs.

Bullshit like this is why many #Autistic people feel like there’s no material benefit to getting a formal diagnosis.

Decided to try out Amazon’s AI thing today and asked it to find me products similar to an $8 USB-A reading light but with USB-C. Its recommendation was a $140 monitor light bar.

I consider myself a pretty normal engineer. A benefit of making systems that allow normal engineers to succeed is that they are generally kinder towards and more supportive of our neurodivergent colleagues (like myself).

I consider myself a pretty normal engineer. A benefit of making systems that allow normal engineers to succeed is that they are generally kinder towards and more supportive of our neurodivergent colleagues (like myself).
